Fortnite’s latest mysteries is centered around a helicopter that players found in the map recently

Fortnite’s latest mysteries is centered around a helicopter that players found in the map recently, and while players can’t hop in it and use it like they would the Stormwing planes before they were vaulted, there are still some questions surrounding it. It’s purpose for being on the map is something that players still aren’t sure of, but even more curious is the fact that this helicopter appears to be moving around the map to visit different locations. Players began sharing their accounts of the helicopter in Fortnite recently with screenshots and, more importantly, theories about what the vehicle is doing on the map. It’s been spotted close to Lazy Lagoon and now…

Watch out Fortnite players, another instant death spot has been discovered on the game’s battle royale island

This is the third spot players have discovered that results in an instant elimination simply by walking through it, joining the Fork Knife discovery and, more recently, The Block issue. What exactly is causing these instant eliminations remains unclear. READ: Fortnite PSA: Walking near this Fatal Fields spot will kill you The bug is simple and incredibly frustrating: walk in what is now being called an ‘instant death’ zone on the Fortnite battle royale island and you’ll immediately die. The screen will read “You Eliminated Yourself,” and the kill feed will state, “PlayerName didn’t stick the landing.” Neither is true — all v buck generator  it takes is a step in the wrong…

But on Fortnite, socializing is a natural corollary to something else.

Fortnite. The wildly popular online video game has quietly become one of the planet’s biggest social networks. Not in a traditional sense, of course. Fortnite Battle Royale is, first and foremost, a last-man-standing, shooter-style game, especially popular among teens and twentysomethings. (Disclaimer here: I’m not a hardcore Fortnite player, though I know plenty of people who are.) In the game, 100 players at a time jump out of a flying bus and onto an island. Combatants are left to duke it out, Hunger Games-style, with a variety of weapons, armor, “healables,” and other tools at their disposal. Though the premise is violent, the game itself really isn’t, with none of the gore or blood of…

we already know that Epic Games is working on a new vehicle

Word of a possible new vehicle comes way of a new datamining effort from the data miners over at Skin-Tracker, who dug up new game files that were added with Season 8 and that make reference to something called “Athena_OctopusSpawner,” which suggests that whatever the new vehicle is, it will be Octopus-related. Of course, this sounds like a very Fortnite thing to add. That said, despite the current map containing some water-heavy locations — such as Lazy Lagoon — there doesn’t seem to be enough water across the map to justify adding a water-based vehicle. However, as the season progresses, it’s possible the map will change and become more engulfed by water,…

Fortnite: Battle Royale Update 8.01 Patch Notes

Epic Games has released another update that brings something that had been teased and fits in nicely with the season’s pirate theme. Patch 8.01 is out now, and its primary addition is the new Buried Treasure item. Here’s how that works and everything else that’s new in today’s update, including a vaulted item and new Limited-Time Mode–just don’t expect any respawns. As detailed in the patch notes for update 8.01, the game now lets you track down treasure. Buried Treasure specifically refers to a Legendary-tier item that takes the form of a map; players use it to uncover loot hidden across the island. Players can only hold one map at a time…

Fortnite’s 2018 Valentine’s Day, but 2019 is here and the game has taken a dark turn

Fortnite’s 2018 Valentine’s Day, but 2019 is here and the game has taken a dark turn. There are a ton of Valentine’s Day skins coming our way, but one of the most interesting has to be the Love Ranger’s counterpart, the Fallen Ranger: we remember that in Fortnite, evil usually translates to “sort of purple”. Such is the case with the Fallen Ranger, who is indeed the cherubic Love Ranger except sort of purple.     It’s slick, most certainly. The horns are a nice way to make it a little less like a complete re-skin. And while we’ve had plenty of back bling wings between last Valentine’s Day and now, this represents…
